With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Butler in Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on May 27, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Donald Butler; her son Bob Balasin (Deb); and her siblings, Roy Pepper (Lorna), Betty Burse (Gordon), Elizabeth "Cookie" Pratt (Clarance "Lefty") and Erma Haskell (Lyle).

She is survived by : her children, Rick Balasin (Linda), Rose Marie Strom (Todd), Catherine "Miki" Butler and Andy Balasin; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Shaun, Michelle, Amanda, Dawn and Trevor; her great grandchildren, Kitera, Kendra, Marcus, Mason, Karli, Ethan, McKenzie, Kayden, Helena, Jensen, Damien, Jamie-Lynn, Madison and Jackson; and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-great-grandchildren and other extended family.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 30th 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). In accordance to guidelines set out by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, all those attending the visitation must wear a mask.
