With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Gray (Edgar) Scott of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on June 23, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gray Edgar and Alice Mae Veitch; her husband Clifford John Scott; her daughter Monica Jane Shelton; her siblings, Jean Stager, Marjorie McLeod, Alexander Edgar, Robert Edgar and Dr. Hugh Edgar; and her siblings-in-law, William Stager, Robert McLeod, Marion Edgar, Jeanette Edgar and Margaret Edgar.
She is survived by: her children, John David Scott (Candace), London and Margaret Gray Ellis (David); her daughter-in-law Marta Scott; and her grandchildren, Derek Ellis (Lisa), Scott Ellis, Heather Gray Ellis (Simone), Jeffrey Scott (Chelsea), Magdalen Sinson (John Madden), Isabella, Jennaca, Sophie, Claire, Greyson, Harper, Gloria, Natalya and Tatum. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Presbyterian World Service and Development or the Poppy Fund, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 642.
