It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Keats (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on January 5, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Keats to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertram Varney and Gertrude Varney (Slade); her husband James Keats; and her siblings, Elsie Lefaive, Gladys Tournageau and Robert Varney.

She is survived by : her children, Dianne Inwood and Gary Keats (Laurie); her grandchildren, Carrie Keats (Richard Burrows), Richard Keats (Annie), Sheena Galbraith (Terry Dulong) and Alicia Galbraith; her nephew Jack Varney (Mary); and her niece Marliene Dennie (Al). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 7th 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L 3K6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 8th 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (100 McNaughton Ave W, Chatham, ON N7L1R3). The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees must wear a mask at the visitation and the service.

Donations made in memory of Dorothy to Emmanuel Baptist Church or Outreach for Hunger would be appreciated by her family.
