She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Armstrong and Lila Armstrong; her husband Walter Long; her daughter Lisa Long; and her siblings, Joe Armstrong and Shirley Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, James Long (Rhonda) and Ruth Wall (late Steve); her grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Zachary Long, Aaron, Adam and Andrew Mitchell; her son-in-law Dan; and her close friend Bob Sutton.
