She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hastings and Edna Hastings; her husband Lorne Patterson; her siblings, Kenneth Hastings and Marilyn Waites (late Earl); and her brothers-in-law, George Patterson (late Beverly) and Ken Patterson (late Olga).

She is survived by: her children, Janice Hodgetts (late Edward), Susan Patterson (Jim Grover) and Dennis Patterson (Lorie Wolf); her grandchildren, Travis Hodgetts (Silvana De Natale), Andrea Hodgetts (Peter Copping) and Jed Patterson; her great grandchildren, Cecilia, Cedro, Emma, Cassidy and Ellis; her brother David Hastings (Laura); and her siblings-in-law, Estella Miller (late Robert), Doris Montgomery (Barry), Leila Loosemore (late Morley), Shirley Phillips (late Don), Gail Patterson, Jean St. Pierre (Maurice), Pat Patterson (Mike Potter) and Lynne Allen (Bob). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
