He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" and Elizabeth MacLean; his sisters, Marion Truckle and Leone Gerolomy; and his son-in-law Jim Veenstra.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie MacLean and Marla Veenstra (MacLean); his grandchildren, Matthew and Joel Veenstra; and his sisters, Jackie Harvey of Manitoba and Joannie Humphreys of Saskatchewan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
