She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Prizio and Ermalinda Prizio; and her brother Giuseppe Prizio. She is survived by: her husband Genesio Matteis; her daughter Maria Mariconda (Darren Lopes); her grandchildren, Kristina Mariconda and Zachary Mariconda; her siblings, Ersilia Colucci and Giovannia Prizio; and her sisters-in-law, Domenica DeMattia and Concetta Prizio.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private family visitation took place at the funeral home with interment in Maple Leaf Mausoleum.
Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
