With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Josephine Cumming of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on October 23, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Strain and Lila Strain (Tiffin); her husband Murray; her son Brian Cumming (Judy); her brother Beverley Strain (late Phyllis); and her parents-in-law, Grace Arnold (Clair) and Ross Cummings (Betty).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Dunlop (Lloyd) and Bonnie Kotwa (Rick); her grandchildren, Brady Dunlop (Jennifer), Brett Dunlop (Jessica), Katie Cumming, Bradley Cumming (Kimbie), Laura Pugh (Colin), Karey Senechal and Breanne Stafford (Chris Bolger); her great grandchildren, Braden, Parker, Cole, Vaughn, Royce, Sophie, Oliver, Eden, Reed and Sloane; and her brother-in-law Malcolm Cumming (late Phyllis). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask.
Donations made in memory of Evie to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Active Lifestyle Centre, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (Rehabilitation/Stroke Unit) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
