He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gamester and Amy Gamester; his wife Marian Elizabeth Gamester; his son Stephen Gamester; his stepson David McKeon; his sister Pat Torrance; and his nephew Maurice.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Janet Osborne (Alex) and Jennifer McKeon; his grandchildren, Katie McKeon (Ryan), Laurel Osborne, Lisa Deck (Tom), Kaela McKeon (John) and Rebecca Catchpole (Tim); his great grandchild Liam Deck; his sister Ure Bliss; and his nieces and nephews, Christine, Wendy, David (Janet), Freddie, Robert, Richard, Jimmy and Sherri.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (80 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J1). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:00 AM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery.
