George Stefik Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, George Stefik of Chatham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stefik and Emily Stefik; his siblings, Charles Stefik (Mildred), Emily Geroux (late Ray), Dennis Stefik (Billie Gail) and Jarka Pelisek (George); and his sister-in-law Marie Laprise.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Susan Gillet (Randy), Barbara French (late Ron) and Ron Stefik; his grandchildren, Rebecca Byrne (Jeff), Stacey Harper (Wayne), Sara French (Lee), Aaron Stefik, George, Victoria, Braeden, Savanna, Ryman and Aurora; and his brother-in-law Raymond Laprise (late Margaret). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Donations made in memory of George to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
