She is survived by: her children, Cam Nelson (Karen), Rod Nelson, Bruce Nelson (Susan) and Doug Nelson (Sylvie); her grandchildren, Michael Nelson (Ellen), Matthew Nelson (Sarah), Jackie Wolting (Kevin), Emily Nelson, Eric Nelson (Samantha), Juli Nelson and Kristin Nelson (Nick); her great grandchildren, Arden, Rowan, Rhys, Myles, Townes, Romy, Ariella, Zander, Seth, Caelyn, Theodore, Evie and Hudson; and her sister Doris Sweiger. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Paul's Congregational Church (450 Park Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M1X2).
