He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Sowers; and his brother Ron Sowers. He is survived by: his parent Velma Sowers (Hawkins); his spouse Barbara; his child Kevin Sowers (Patsy) of Chatham; and his siblings, Wanita Briggs, Glenwood Sowers (Mildred), Dianna LaPointe, Joyce Yeats (Gary), Shirley Anne Curtis and John Sowers (Judy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
