He was predeceased by: his parents, Esdras Mallette and Maria Mallette (Lucier); his wife Alice Mallette (Authier); his siblings, Mary Jane Herbert, Victor Mallette and Margaret Grant; his son Jimmy; and his grandson Aaron.

He is survived by: his children, Ron Mallette, Barb (Badder), Mike Mallette (Jeff Shillington), Carol Stenhouse (Wayne), Linda McFarlane (Dale Bowers) and Donna Mallette; his grandchildren, Alana, Jeff, Katie, Kara, Renee, Dan, Jodi, Kim, Darren, Jordan, Sarah, Jesse, Nicole and Danielle; his siblings, Benedict Mallette and Rene Moisan; and his close friend Bernice Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
