He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Murphy (Brouillette) and Gordon Murphy; and his siblings, Pauline Murphy, Mary Louise Kuni (Joe) and James Murphy.

He is survived by: his sister Joanne Murphy; his sister-in-law Gloria Murphy; his sibling's children, Kim (John Bartlett), Darrin (Sandy Murphy), David (Annie Kuni) and Joelle (Greg Long); his great-nephews, Andrew, Kyle, Chris Bartlett, Josh, Ben Murphy, Matthew Kuni and Caleb Long; his great-niece Chloe Kuni; his uncle Gerry; and his wife Theresa.

Donations to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation or Charity of One's Choice would be appreciated.
