He is survived by: his wife Angelina Matteis (D'onofrio); his children, Carmela Bocchino (Anthony), Leno E. Matteis (Rita), Concetta Deabreu (Antonio) and Josephina Bell (Andrew); his grandchildren, Aldo Bocchino (Krista), Giuliana Rodrigues (Paul), Cristina Stenlund (Tyler), Adriano Deabreu, Arianna Bell, Andrew Joseph Bell and Ciara Bell; his siblings, Gerarda Todino (late Vittorio), Joanne Moccia (Mario) and Anthony Matteis (Anna); and his sister-in-law Anne Matteis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home (156 William St S, Chatham, ON N7M4S8). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ursula's Church (205 Tweedsmuir Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M5N8). A burial was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery.
