She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bateman and Annabelle Bateman (Scott); and her siblings, Edward Bateman (Verlyn), Ruby McDonald (Doug), John 'Jack' Bateman (Doris) and Isabelle Fleetwood (Ernest). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
