He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Beattie and Vanessa Beattie; his wife Ruth Beattie; and his girlfriend Helen MacKenzie. He is survived by: his children, Doug Beattie (Wendy), Dennis Beattie (Linda) and Charlie Beattie (Nancy); his siblings, Mike Beattie (Barb), Betty and Emma; and his sister-in-law Carol Medley (late Stuart). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
