He was predeceased by: his parents, George Duff and Marguerite Duff; and his brother George Duff Jr. Gord. He is survived by: his sister Ann Steele; his wife Irene Duff "Bumm"; his children, Genny Thiel (Andrew) and Gord Jr. Duff (Stephanie); and his brother-in-law Richard Peck.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gord's honour to the food bank.
