With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Eskritt Wright (Chatham, Ontario), born in Ridgetown, Ontario, who passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent George Oliver; his spouse Ruth Wright (Robson); his brother Jim Wright; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Hall and Kerry Mayor.
He is survived by: his parent Elsie Blum Wright (Eskritt); his children, Donna Robertson of Chatham and Linda Durst (Peter) of Stittsville; his grandchildren, Sarah O'Grady (Dave), Mellisa Orvis (Tim) and Kevin Durst (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Evelynn O'Grady, Audrey Durst and Clark Durst; and his siblings, Don Wright (Pat) of Thamesville, Margaret Laprise (late Ernest) of Ridgetown and Gladys Fitzpatrick of Wallaceburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the C-K Hospice Foundation and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
