He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Blonde (Beatie) and Ernest Blonde; his sibling Verlyn Clifford; his grandson Leith Chinnick; and his siblings, Jean Bushey (John), Mavis Drury (Lloyd), Eileen Knapik, Ron Clifford and Leigh Blonde (Leslie Blonde).
He is survived by: his children, Dan (Kathryn Bailey), Lynn Benoit-Smith (Brett), Sheila Chinnick (Tim) and Brad Blonde (Kate); and his brother-in-law Victor Knapik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
