He was predeceased by: his parents, Klaas Zuidema and Grietje Zuidema; and his sister Carla van. He is survived by: his spouse Marchien Zuidema; his children, Trudy Luiting (Dick), Rob Zuidema (Cathy), Alan Zuidema (Susan), Ed Zuidema (Marlene), Arlene Rintjema (Rob) and Jennifer Zuidema; his siblings, Nick Zuidema (Dianne), Henry Zuidema (Cathy) and Jean Noordam; and his siblings-in-law, Gesina, John Pennings and Gé Koopman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Living Hope Free Reformed Church (159 Gregory Dr E, Chatham, ON N7M5J7).
