With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen O'Brien (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on April 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, T. H. Costello and Annie Costello (O'Neill); her siblings, Hugh, Father Pat Costello and Inez Burke; her children, Anne Marie and Pat; and her granddaughter Anna Maria.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald O'Brien (Gerry); her children, Maureen Heath (Michael), Tom (Sheila), Colleen Griffioen (Henry) and Jim (Anita); her grandchildren, Charles, Victoria, Daniel Heath, Katie (Lavigne), Tim, Megan O'Brien, Max Griffioen, Morgan, Finley and Patrick O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Annie, Owen Lavigne, Grady and James Charlotte O'Brien. She is also survived by mother to her six children and then a grandmother and great grandmother.

Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
