She was predeceased by: her father Arthur; her husbands, James Vermeersch and Emil Jakubec; and her siblings, Marie Watson (late Alan) and Jack Broadbent (late Kay).

She is survived by: her sons, David Vermeersch and Darrin Vermeersch (Lorna); her grandchildren, Sydney Vermeersch and Rowan Vermeersch; and her siblings, Sandra Flynn (late Roger) and Winsor Broadbent (Doreen). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, friends.
