It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Zimmer (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on December 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Zimmer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Rublik and Frank Rublik; her husband Lorne Zimmer; her son-in-law Jay Brodie; her siblings, Gerald "Sam" Fuerth, Stanley Rublik and Anne Rublik; and her brother-in-law Don Zimmer (Pat).

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Zimmer (Brenda) of Ridgetown, Lynn Brodie of Chatham, Lori Badder of Chatham and Lisa Zimmer (David Charbonneau) of Chatham; her grandchildren, Larissa (Jerrod), Jessica (Tadd), William (Lisa), Justine (Ryan), Laura (Brandon), Ian (Stephanie) and Tia; her great grandchildren, Rylie, Brinley, Zoey, Severn, Church, Buzz, Rudy, Dillon, Palmer, Culver, Spencer and Landon; her siblings, Ed Rublik (Betty) and Fran Bucek (Jerry); and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Fuerth and Dianne Dejonghe (Firmin).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home (245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1J9). A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (180 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M5K4).
