It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry Blommers of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on November 7, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Blommers; and his siblings, John Blommers, Rita DeLyzer, Pauline McConnell and Peter Blommers.
He is survived by: his children, Ron (Beth) of Halifax and Brenda Laird (Phil); his grandchildren, Matthew (Alyssum), Jessica (Ben), Marley and Hunter; his great grandchildren, Hope, Grant, Drew, Weston, Allie and Beckett; his sister Corry Boone; and his siblings-in-law, Cecile (Rene Bossy), Christine Pinsonneault, Maggie Ward, Ron Havens (Linda) and Don Havens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
