He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Sonneveld and Joan Sonneveld (Nauta); his brothers, Gus (Dina Sonneveld) and Jack (Shelley Sonneveld); and his father-in-law Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Kersten); his children, Trevor (Kim), Dana (Adam) and Christine (Geoff); his grandchildren, Ava, Sonny and Flora; his siblings, Ruth Ann (Bryan Shoemaker), Ben (Mary Jo Sonneveld), Wes Sonneveld, Wilma (Richard Wright) and Julie (Kevin Salvadori); his mother-in-law Mary Kersten; and his siblings-in-law, John Kersten, Hedy, Brian Muller, Wilma, Richard Stepniak and Marlene Kersten. He is also survived by his family, many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Mary's Hall (94 George St, Blenheim, ON N0P1A0).
