We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2026, Hilda Millie of Chatham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rodgers and Mary Anne Rodgers; her husband Earl Millie; her siblings, Gladys Dormer and Bert Rodgers (Evelyn); and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor, Marion, Pauline, Norma, Ralph and Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Rodger Millie (MaryAnne), Tim Millie (Linda), Greg Millie (Barb Proctor), Carol Hedley (late Bill) and Cathy Smith; her grandchildren, Dea, Diana, Dolly, Rhiannon (Sean), Bethanie (Jeremy), Caitlin, Lisa (Brendan), Candace (Jamie), Stephanie (Joshua), Daniel (Kailyn), Becky (Todd), Rachel (Mat) and Katie (Jared); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Nahum, Hope, Faith, Piper May, Nathaniel, Hannah, Jackson, Bryce, Aiden, Ben, Kiara, Chloe, Declan, Jaxson, Mackenzie, Millie, William, Owen, Isaac, Abby, Andrew and James; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Ann and Ken. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (81 Selkirk St, Chatham, ON N7L1Y8). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations made in memory of Hilda to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated by the family.
