He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Heather, Eliu Mejia, Shane, Justine Van Kesteren, Jessica, Dino Zirtilides, Jennifer Van Kesteren, Jonathan, Jeni Van Kesteren, Bethany, Shawn Duncan, Heidi and Nathan Hystek; his grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa Mejia, Evan, Shannon Mejia, Braden, Stephanie Mejia, Carson, Lily Mejia, Noah Van Kesteren, Bronte, Noah Rahim, Thea, Darcy Van Kesteren, Evi, Alexei Zirtilides, Charlotte, Irene Van Kesteren, Penny, Piper Duncan, Van and Vyla Hystek; his great grandchildren, Jubilee, Felicity and Kyrie Mejia; his siblings, Joanne (Chuck Bultman), Bonnie Van Kesteren, Roy (Nina Van Kesteren), Mike (Hettie Van Kesteren), Dave (Faye Van Kesteren), Charlie (Colleen Van Kesteren), Paul (Debbie Van Kesteren) and Joyce Haveman; and his in-laws, Wendy, Doug Goodreau, Pat Pilon, Bill, Margret Pilon, Jack, Janet Pilon, John and Sherri Pilon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
