She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McCorkindale and Ila McCorkindale (Melton); her stepdaughter Marilyn McLean (late Paul); and her siblings, Kay, Isabelle, Marlene, June, Laura, Patricia, John, Allan, Lorne, Christopher, Michael and Archie.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Sawyer (Marie) of Calgary, AB and David Sawyer (Bernice) of Chatham; her grandchildren, Dwayne Sawyer (Shelley) of Ottawa, Paul Sawyer (Tanis) of Calgary, Jennifer Gibbs (Chris) of Calgary, Christopher Sawyer (Kathy) of Chatham, Paula Hicks (Matt) of Sarnia and Michele Smeets (Jamie) of Bright's Grove; her great grandchildren, Paige Sawyer, Torin Sawyer, Alyssa Gibbs, Kaitlyn Gibbs, Megan Sawyer, Dylan Sawyer and Kaylee Sawyer; and her brother Norris McCorkindale. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
