She was predeceased by: her parents, Karel Brandes and Cornelia Brandes; her husband Jan "John"; her son David; her grandchild Nicolaas; and her brother Adrian Brandes.
She is survived by: her children, Cora, Carl and Deborah; her grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie), Jarod (Susan), Hannah, Eric, Mitchell, Cassidy, Jacob and Katrina; her great grandchild Valentina; her siblings, Peter Brandes (Diane) and Mary Anne Crawford (Gene); and her family Sault Ste Marie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Ina, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
