She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Cartier (Charron) and Seville Cartier; and her siblings, Sharon Hinckley, Vickie Pilon, Leo and Gerald Cartier.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Martin; her children, Betty Ann Darlow (Greg), Shelly Martin, Bryon Martin (Diana), Barry Martin and Dean Martin (Dawn); and her siblings, Sandy Robinson and Clifford Cartier. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinnegan Peseski Funeral Home (156 William St S, Chatham, ON N7M4S8). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ursula's Church (205 Tweedsmuir Ave W, Chatham, ON N7M5N8).
