She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus McMillan and Elizabeth McMillan; her husbands, Lorne Northcott and Arthur Ash; and her siblings, Tom McMillan, Margaret Cameron and Marjorie Shipley.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Reed (Marlene), Brian Reed (Marlette), Karen Reed and David Reed (Jessie); her stepchildren, Cheryl Northcott and Michael Northcott; her grandchildren, Kathleen Loewen (Jeff), Colleen Usselman (Byron), Jonathan Pramberg Jonathan Reed (Carmen) and Alexander Reed; her great grandchildren, Freya, Solara and Kylo; and her sister Laura Galbraith. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Donations made in memory of Irene to the Chatham Christian Centre or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated by the family.
