He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Bechard and Velina Bechard (Myers); his significant other Dora; his son-in-law Paul Kloostra; and his brothers, Deacon Vern and Jerome.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Christina), Lee Ann Sparks (Bill) and Shelley Bechard-Kloostra; his grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn, David, Caitlin, Emilee, Valerie, Kyle, Tiffany, Leila, Logan, Deaton, Anastashya and Oliver; and his siblings, Beverley Crow, Jeannette Owen, Gerard (Margo) and Norbert Bechard (Noreen). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
