He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen; his parents, Sam Taylor and Eileen Pitcher; his brothers, Sam (Marilyn) and Jim (Milly); and his friend Bill Dickson.

He is survived by: his children, David (Kara), Chris (Diane) and Tracey Lucier (Ric); his grandchildren, Sean (Agne), Dylan, Chris, Matt, Josh, Brett, Reed, Meahgan, Joel, Todd, Jarrod and Alyssa (Rob); his great grandchildren, Lukas, Daisy, Ayden and Jack; his sons, Bill (Cheryl), Mike and Don; and also Pat.
