He was predeceased by: his parents, George Goddard and Helen Goddard; his wife Carol Goddard; and his son Robert Goddard. He is survived by: his children, Terri-Lynn Burgess (Ron) and Chris Goddard (Jocelyn); his daughter-in-law Shelley Goddard; his sibling Jean Caron (Dan); his grandchildren, Veronica Burgess (Josh), Sara Brisson (Josh) and Aleah Goddard (Scott); and his great grandchild Bella Burgess. He is also survived by his family, extended relatives, and many close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642 (39 William St N, Chatham, ON N7M4L3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642, The Essex and Kent Scottish Association, or the 294 Royal Canadian Air Cadets in Jack's honour.
