It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L Purdy (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on April 26, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lional Purdy and Iva Purdy; his wife Vera Purdy; and his sisters, Ruth Purdy and Gertrude Tieleman.
He is survived by: his sons, James R Purdy and Gregory Purdy (Silvia); his grandsons, Jim Purdy (Marcia), Richard Purdy (Tammy) and Blake Purdy; his great grandchildren, Melissa Gunnis (Ryan), Jessica Carducci (Eric), Sierra Purdy, Kaleb Purdy, Ethan Purdy and Dylan Purdy; and his great great grandchild Easton Gunnis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
