He was predeceased by: his parents, James McLagan II and Ruby McLagan; his wives, Ruth Ellen "Rell" McLagan and Marilyn McLagan; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Memphis, Cameron, Teddy, Murphy and Kennie Lynn; his brother John McLagan; Clarke.
He is survived by: his children, Dave McLagan (Melanie), Lori McCorkle (Ken), Cheryl Lewis (Deryck), Brian Lawson and David Lawson; his grandchildren, Abegail McLagan, Connor McLagan, Kendra Deelstra (Mike), Mark McCorkle (Emily), Andrew McCorkle, Nathan Perry (Christina) and Cassidy Perry (Austin); and his sister Gale McLagan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McKinlay Funeral Home - Chatham (459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L3K6). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
