She was predeceased by: her parents, Adriaan Foekens and Maria Foekens; and her in-laws, Marinus Foekens, Ina Beintema, Andy Beintema, Margareth Beintema, Jackie Foekens, Irene Vanderveer and Tim Vanderveer.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Shawna-Lee Rivard, Shari-Lynn Rivard (Andy Tops) and David Rivard (Leanne Cassone); her grandchildren, Jessica Rivard, Destiny Rivard (Alex Granusaull), Jenna Cassone, Topanga Rivard-Vlcek, Brandon Cassone (Ori Rashish) and Carolyn Rivard; her great grandchildren, Bentley Cassone, Lexa Rivard, Carter Rivard, Charlotte Roswell and Blake Roswell; her siblings, Walter Foekens (Audrey), Murray Foekens (Barb) and Sylvia Wielhouwer (Hank); and her brother-in-law Louis Beintema. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evangel Community Church (76 Sandys St, Chatham, ON N7L4Y5). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jane are welcome to Heart and Stroke or the Terry Fox Foundation.
