Jean Burleigh Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Burleigh of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on April 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barnwell and Mabel Barnwell (Magee); her husband Harry Burleigh; her daughter Barb Nisbet (Rick); and her brothers, Donald, Arthur and Lloyd Barnwell.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Weese (Glenn Thorpe) of Chatham, Dianne Twigg of Chatham and Linda Painter (Chuck) of Prince; her grandchildren, Greg Weese (Tricia), Mark Weese, Joe Weese, Lori Balfoort (Michael), Lisa Heinbuck (Sean Sparkes), Leigh Ann Twigg (Adam Labonte), Derek Twigg (Jessica), Michelle Hamelin, Michael Hamelin (Emma), Matthew Hamelin (Sharon) and Melanie Hamelin (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Devon, Samantha, Trent, Hannah, Brennan, Curtis, Riley, Mackenzie, Robyn, Amy, Jared, Dylan, Aiden, Logan, Teagan, Paytan, Seth, Zoe and Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
It has been requested that all guests wear a mask or face covering at the visitation and the funeral.
