He was predeceased by: his parents, Remi Vanderiviere and Germaine Vanderiviere; and his siblings, Jeanette, Rene, John, Gloria, Robert and Clara.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Chris, Shirley Vanderiviere, Keith and Vicki Vanderiviere; his grandchildren, Kory, Kelsy, Kirk, Owen and Morgan; and his great grandchild Noah. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
