She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roorda and Elizabeth Roorda; her husband William "Bill" Sluys; her daughter Sandra Lynn Sluys; and her brothers, Andrew (late Jean) and George (Diane).
She is survived by: her children, Steven, Patti Sluys, Robert, Patricia Sluys, John Peter and Sarah Sluys; her grandchildren, Merissa, Joshua, Britney, Alex, Abby, Hope and Reuben; her great grandchild Bennett; and her sister Marianne (late Hank).
