It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe-Anne Atkinson (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Harry McGaffey; her husband Brian Atkinson; and her brothers, Bill, James and Dan McGaffey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Sally McGlashan, Pat Franklin and Karin Neilson; her siblings-in-law, Mary Jane McGaffey, Art Franklin, Rolf Neilson and Joy McGaffey; her stepchildren, Laura Correnti and Brent Atkinson (Roberta); her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew Correnti, Vanessa and Brandon Atkinson; her caregiver Amanda; and her pets, Maggie and Precious. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews & great-nieces and nephews.
Donations made in memory of Joe-Anne may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Shriners Hospital.
