He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarke and Eva Clarke; and his wife Sandra. He is survived by: his close friend Sherryl Pratt; his daughters, Colleen Cresta (Nick) and Melinda Slaney (Sean); and his siblings, Gerald Clarke (Cindy), Vernon Clarke (Shari), Owen Clarke (April), Isabelle Hitchcock (Lorne) and Eva Marg Toulouse (Vern). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Anthony Cemetery (55 Maple Leaf Dr, Chatham, ON N7M).
