He is survived by: his spouse Carol-Anne LaPointe (Vinter); his parent Barbara Broadbent (Don); his child Cori Pettit of Toronto; his stepchild Eric Belland of Ridgetown; and his siblings, Deborah Seabourne, Roxanne LaPointe, Penny LaPointe and Rod Prior.
