He was predeceased by: his wife Janisse Meko (Crowe); his parents, Andras Meko and Etel Meko (Farkas); and his siblings, Andy (Betty) and Margaret (Frank Horuczi).
He is survived by: his children, John (Julie), Mark (Jon Ann) and Susan (late Mike Korpan); his grandchildren, John David Meko, Emily Meko (Russell Colebrook), Aaron Meko, Mark Andrew Meko (Bryanne Murray), Kellen Baldock (Erica), McKenna Kimmons (Joe), Kristen Korpan (Sean Dobbelaar) and Bryce Korpan (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Boone, Suthryn Dobbelaar, Tenley Korpan, Jackson Meko and Monroe Kimmons; his nieces and nephews, Brenda Hinnegan, Gail Keys, Karan Duquette and Diane Meko; and his goddaughter Sally Mihalco.
