He was predeceased by : his mother Patricia; and his sister Jennifer. He is survived by : his father Thomas Kenneth (Violet); his siblings, Jane Shields (Rick) of London and Jeff (Shelley) of Blenheim; his niece Jessica Shields; his nephew Gregory Shields (Shanna); his great-nephew Colton; and his great-niece Brooklyn.
John was a member of the Botany Cemetery board and would appreciate anyone wanting to make a memorial donation in his memory to consider the Botany Cemetery Fund.
