He is survived by: his wife Katharina "Tina"; his sons, Al Thiessen (Susan) of Blenheim and Dennis Thiessen (Tiina) of New Brunswick; his grandchildren, Madelyn and Gracelyn; and his siblings, Anna Loewen (Dick) of Edmonton, Trudy Thiessen of Waterloo, Susan Swartzentruber (Chuck) of Elmira, Jacob Thiessen (Natty) of Fergus, Isaak Thiessen (Sarah) of Waterloo, Abe Thiessen (Sheila) of Manitoba and Marty Thiessen (Ardea) of Brampton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
