John Thomas Barker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Barker of Chatham, Ontario, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barker and Janet Barker; and his son Steven Barker. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Barker (Reeks); his children, Tina Henry (Tom), Jackie Carey, Jeanette Somers, John Barker Jr. and Rita Barker; his grandchildren, Maggie Harris (Adam), Kody Henry (Kirsten), Kendel Fletcher, Henry (Cameron), Jesse Lutz, Carey (Brady), Taylar Weigel (Zach), Karissa Mattison, Elizabeth Barker, Brittany McArthur (Colin), Payden Brown (Cole) and Kiaya Barker; his great grandchildren, Mollie, Amelia, Claire, Braxton, Renn, Fallon, Faith, Johnathan, Roman, Rita and Mitchell; his siblings, Mikey, Mona and Ester; and his pets, Petra, Sammy, Quaker, Coco and Chip.
