We announce the death of Joseph Douglas Lloyd (Chatham, Ontario), who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 75. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lloyd and Annie Lloyd; his wife Sherry Lloyd; and his siblings, Laurie, Alex, Shane, Jesse, Melvin, Hector, Mary Lou and Gloria.
He is survived by: his children, Brent and Anita; his grandchildren, Courtney Ibari, Cody, Adam and Braydon Lloyd; his great grandchildren, Sami and Alleya Ibari; his siblings, Lila Walker, Yvonne Hynes (Tony), Emma Jean Burns (Lawrence), Louis Lloyd (Valerie), Crawford Lloyd (Diane) and Henry Lloyd (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Darlene, Phyllis and Dianne; and his friends, Jim and Deb Ready. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joey's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
