It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Marie Van De Wynckel of Chatham, Ontario, born in Wheatley, Ontario, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Prosper Meighem and Rosalie Van Meighem; her sister Isabelle (Morris DeDecker); and her brothers-in-law, Oscar LeClair, Robert Vanek, Rene, John and Richard Van De Wynckel.

She is survived by : her husband Andy; and her sisters-in-law, Annette LeClair, Alice Vanek and Georgette Van De Wynckel.

A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (95 Marlborough St N, Blenheim, ON N0P1A0).

Donations would be welcome in Kathleen's memory Online or In-person at McKinlay Funeral Homes to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the St. Andrew's Residence Foundation or the Literary Angels Chatham Kent Public Library.
